Shekesia Joyner, founder and creative director for of Art & FACT, believes that design should emerge from the intersections of time, place, and space.
A Baltimore native, she appreciates the character and authenticity a level of grit can evoke in interiors.
Shekesia is a licensed interior designer with more than a decade of experience. Her expertise spans across the industry, from residential, to multi-family and hospitality design. From programming and schematic design to construction administration and installation, she has managed and designed a number of projects from start to completion and has been intimately involved with all phases of the design process.
Shekesia is well versed in all aspects of design and continues to marry her passion for design with her love of art. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Professor of interior design at Montgomery College and freelance writer. She continues to design intentional spaces that are alluring as they are inspired.
